Fingers crossed..new Dorset and Dorset Advantage lambs in the oven.

Not any old sheep will do. No matter if it’s show lambs, breeding sheep or lambs we raise for meat, we are looking to improve our flock all the time. Selecting the right rams to get the best lambs we can is key to being a success at all three of the market avenues.

THANKS TO ALL WHO BOUGHT FROM US!!

It was another great morning at the Logansport Farmers Market yesterday. Lamb Chops were the big seller of the day!! Ground and patties will be available first week or two of July.

Try all our cuts..you won’t be disappointed. Not sure how to prepare lamb? We suggest to prepare it like you would your favorite beef cuts.

Today is the most important day on the farm. Not only did we get all the sheering done, big thanks to Mauck Shearing Services, LLC, banger job as always. It’s also time to decide who gets bred to who. Which ewes are getting natural service and which ewes we are dumping a ton of money into to get LAIed. Yeah, we should have already known but when you have too many good ones to choose from, it makes decisions harder. No matter what we are just gonna go for it and turn Yee Yee out with the natural service ewes today. Starting it off with the traditional red crayon. Here’s to a successful 2026 breeding season.
