Sure am missing this place this year. Had a 15 year run of showing sheep at the great Indiana State Fair. We decided to take this year off of showing for some medical reasons. Hoping this doesn’t become a habit. I’m not done with chasing banners. Got to keep in the loop in case some day I have grand kids, that at least sounds like a good reason anyway.

THATS A WRAP..our farmers market season is over. We are almost out of our frozen lamb cuts. What’s left we are going to save for us rather than sell it. We rarely enjoy our lamb because we save it all for our customers.

Again..a huge THANK YOU to all the venders, volunteers and customers at the Logansport Farmers Market for a record setting sales season. It’s because of all of you that we are successful at what we do.

We are already making plans for the 2027 market season. More lamb processed and more “Lamb Burger Saturdays” are in the works. Trying to have enough meat to make it through the whole or most of the season is our very attainable goal for next year.

Don’t forget, we have more lambs that will be ready for processing this fall. The meat from those lambs will be for sale off the farm. Will post when it’s ready. We will meet up, deliver or ship. There is no minimum order. Just one package or a whole lamb, we will do whatever it takes to get it to you.

We are truly blessed and thankful to have the opportunity to be a vender at the market. We love raising lambs that are feeding citizens of Cass and surrounding counties. Please reach out if you have any questions, comments, ideas or criticisms. A big part of growing a business is feedback.

Absolutely LOVE when someone can combine our lamb meat with someone else’s product from the farmers market. That’s as local and as good as it gets. Make sure to follow Treasures by Treva and Fe Fi Focaccia.

This sandwich was diabolical 🤣 im so sorry for everyone who saw me attempting to eat this monstrocity but I have no regrets. Lamb burger from Wild H Acres LLC paired with elotes focaccia from Fe Fi Focaccia eating it was about the messiest thing I've ever done but it was so worth it! Literally the best burger of my life. 🤤🤤 next time I attempt a science experiment with my lunch, ill make sure to bring baby wipes 🤣

Had 24 lamb burgers to grill and sell today. It only took an hour before they were all sold.

“Lamb Burger Saturdays” were a smashing success. We will bring it back and have more of them next year.

We will be back at the Logansport Farmers Market this week. Most likely will be our last “Lamb Burger Saturday.” The limited number we set aside to grill and sell will be gone in one more Saturday if sales go like they have been.

Our frozen cuts sales have been awesome as well. If we have another good sales day with those, next Saturday could be our final farmers market of the year.

We still have 5 lambs on pasture that will be ready to process this fall. If you are interested in a whole or half lamb to put in your freezer, we got you covered.

Also we do sell lamb meat when it’s not market season. So don’t be afraid to reach out. Like I mentioned, we have 5 more to process this year. We will bend over backwards to get you what you want. The holidays will be here before you know it and a Wild H Acres whole lamb leg roast is a perfect addition to your holiday feast.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million times. We are truly thankful for all our customers and the support we get from the farmers market.
