This mare is truly something special! Violet is a 5-year-old grulla roan Perch/QHx mare standing right around 15.2 hands. Not only does this special lady have unique coloring and flash — her brain is equally as unique and hard to find. She’s a true all-rounder, one you can do absolutely anything and any discipline with! She’s been ridden English, Ba****ck, Western, she’s broke to drive, and she even lays down on command! 🙌🏼 She’s smart, level-headed, brave, absolutely gorgeous, and that doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how amazing Miss Violet really is!💜

We have had this girl in our program for several months now and have quite literally done everything under the sun with her! ☀️She has trailered out and done both dressage and jumping lessons with some of the best trainers in our area. She’s gone out on miles of trails, as well as hunter paces and paper chases, and most recently debuted at her first starter trials event! She is truly one you could throw the husband on for a trail ride one day and then take to a competition the next! Violet is incredibly versatile, brilliant, and a horse everyone can enjoy.

Violet will load right into the trailer to hit the trails, and she’s been to many different locations to ride out! She acts the same off-property as she does at home, and she’s always the same level-headed ride no matter what. She’s packed beginners on the trail, she’ll go swimming in the lake, cross bridges, and go through tunnels, and she is a complete trail blazer and point-and-go ride! She’s seen hikers, bikes, dogs, equipment, traffic, busy warm-up rings, tarps, balls, flags — and nothing phases this girl! She takes everything in stride and has a good attitude about it at the same time. Violet has a happy-go-lucky personality and genuinely likes to please her person. She’s the full package!⭐️

In the ring, Violet is straightforward and easy to ride. She’s had a great foundation in flatwork and continues to learn and improve with every ride! She’s able to go with connection and will frame up, or ride on the buckle and neck rein. She’s a nice in-between of “go” and “whoa.” She has self-carriage and will move out nicely when asked. She moves off leg well and is balanced both directions. She gets both leads easily and is even started on lead changes and doing wonderfully. She’s intelligent, retains new information well, and always strives to do her best.🙌🏼

Over jumps, Violet has been well introduced, and she has the cutest form! She’s been well schooled over different jumps, both in the arena and out cross-country. She’s schooled up to 2’6” courses and definitely has scope for higher! Violet has been nothing but impressive over the more solid and “scary” cross-country jumps. She’s been through more difficult water combinations, as well as uphill and downhill combinations, taking everything with confidence and bravery. She’s always game, and she’ll always get you to the other side. She’s the type you could take to any and all events! We could see Violet being well suited for a good riding kid or AA, whether you just want something safe or one to take out and compete with. She could even be suitable for a beginner working with a trainer. She has the best demeanor, and she is genuinely a kind horse.🏆

On the ground, Violet gets along with everyone. She’s used to loud kids, dogs running around her legs, and everything else you find on a busy farm! She stands quietly to groom and tack up, has good stall manners, is easy to catch, and is a horse that actually enjoys attention and being fussed over. She’s well behaved in a mixed herd and is not one to start drama with the other horses. In fact, the other horses seem to love her — I think she has gotten herself three different boyfriends! 😂

Violet will ride out independently alone or in a big group and is never one to get upset if another horse rides too close. She’s not your typical mare, and you’d never guess it if you didn’t look! This girl has a soft spot in our hearts. She really is a phenomenal young horse with so much to offer. Don’t miss out on sweet Violet. 💜

This is what “Sweet Miss Ciara” has been up to recently! 💕🙌🏼

She packed around a beginner rider for some flat classes at a show, was a therapy/littles horse babysitting for a day, and then went to a side saddle race! 🤯🤩

This mare is truly phenomenal- being just four years old with her confidence and poise is so special. She’s the “go-to” for anything and everything! Sweet Ciara lives up to her name- she could not be sweeter.💕

💕 Darla — As Sweet as She Is Special 💕

Meet our girl ✨Darla✨—this is one that’s been pretty easy to get attached to around here.

This sweetheart is a 4-year-old chocolate palomino Belgian/QH cross standing right around 15.2–15.3hh, with all the dapples, chrome, and eye-catching color you could ask for. The girl is built a little lighter and more athletic than most, which makes her especially comfortable, balanced, and fun to ride. She’s the kind that gets noticed, but it’s her personality that really keeps you hooked.😍

Darla has been brought along the right way, and it shows in everything she does. She’s soft, willing, and very in tune with her rider. This mare neck reins, direct reins, and moves off your leg with ease, and she’s got a nice handle to her already. The feel she gives you is what people spend years looking for—light in your hands, responsive, and always trying to do the right thing.🙌🏼

We’ve been putting some time into her English and dressage work, and she’s taken to it like a natural. The girl has a pretty way of going, stays rhythmic, and carries herself nicely. We’ve also started her lightly over fences, and this little mare has been honest, brave, and just plain fun. She even made her first trip to a schooling show and came home with ribbons, handling the whole experience like a seasoned horse.

Out on the trail, she’s just as dependable. This sweetheart is the same whether you’re at home or somewhere new. She’s been through rough terrain, water, woods, and even ridden into town with traffic and noise, and nothing seems to shake her. She’ll lead, follow, or just quietly go along—whatever you ask of her. She’s recently been out on her first hunter pace, and was very impressive! She blew us away with her honesty and elegance over the fences, it was her first time seeing anything that sizable or solid! She was confident in the herd dynamic, good with cantering through the fields, and sweet about the other horses riding close. 🤩

She’s also been through our desensitizing program and has seen tarps, flags, smoke, dogs, and equipment. The girl takes it all in stride and keeps a level head. Around the barn, she’s just a pleasure to have—easy to catch, stands quietly, enjoys being groomed, and gets along well turned out. No bad habits, no drama—just a good-minded young mare.

Darla is one of those you find yourself looking forward to riding. She’s kind, willing, and meets you in the middle every time. This is a mare you can enjoy right now, but she’s also the kind that’s only going to keep getting better and more valuable with time.

This boy truly lives up to his name. 😇He is the definition of safe and quiet, with an old soul. He's a 4-year-old (mentally 24🤣), 15.3-16hh Perch/Morgan cross gelding. Saint is gentle, sweet, in-your-pocket, slow, and an avid lover of attention. He rides western, English, and ba****ck, is broke to drive, and even lays down on command! On the trail, Saint is just simple. He tends to bring up the rear with his slow, steady pace and is happy to mosey along in the back. He's never in a hurry, never worked up, and never a problem. In the arena, Saint has a nice walk, trot, and canter in both directions. He will do walk-to-canter transitions, move off your leg, and stop on a dime.
He's definitely a push ride and not one that will ever run away with you. In fact, he's a great one to teach riders how to use their leg! He'll go along on a loose, floppy rein and takes a joke better than anyone. If someone gets unbalanced or falls on his neck, his reaction is to stop. We could see him making an excellent therapy horse! He's so safe you can put the kids on him for a pony ride or even ride double for a stroll around. He's the best boy-truly saintly.⭐️
He adores the littles and will follow kids around like a puppy! Saint is gentle-natured, kind-hearted, and impossible not to love.
In the barn, Saint is a perfect gentleman. You can throw the kids on his back to groom him while dogs run around his legs, and he won't blink an eye. He loves to be groomed and soak up attention. He'll literally put his head in your arms for a hug! He's a total lovebug with one of the best personalities in the barn. He's curious, wants to be part of the action, and never takes a wrong step. He gets along with everyone and has zero vices. Saint truly acts like an old-school schoolmaster and has quickly become a barn favorite. At the age of four, you might expect some shenanigans- but not with this girl. She carries herself with unflappable confidence, grace, and wisdom well beyond her years. She is the ultimate family/guest horse, whether you have the kids around, or your putting the husband on for his first ride, she’s slow, reliable, and does not have a single mean bone in her body. This girl has a brain that’s rare, hard to come by, and really something special. 💕

On the trail, Bess is the go to for the inexperienced or less confident riders. She’s the type of horse you can pony off another horse with a kid on, or put anyone on and trust that she’ll just follow along. She goes where she’s pointed, whether that be creeks, river, open fields, or bushwhacking through the thicket- she’s always game, and always happy to do her job. This handsome gelding is a 6-year-old, ½ Clyde, ¼ Perch, ¼ QH cross. Standing a sturdy 17 hands, he’s hard to miss! He’s got all the flash, with his big blaze and pretty white socks. Clydes are known for being gentle giants, and Clifford truly lives up to that expectation—he’s always the first to come running in from the field! Not only is he gentle, but he’s incredibly versatile and athletic for his size. He can jump around and then walk on a loose rein right after.
