We're still knocking out meals for college. The jalapenos are on point. Even have one jar set back with some mixed in. One thing we've had to learn is how to cook, package and reheat the meat to be as close to home-cooked as possible while our kids are gone. We've had a few trial runs to get it tuned in and keep the kids smiling. Today we used the great on some strip steaks. Im here to tell we've used some other products in the past but this one IMO takes steak to the next level. Still use the same great combo that helped us nab a 40th place at the world finals. Big D's Q is more than just a seasoning to us. They are family and we are greatful for everything they do. From my family to yours, Thank you. We also have to give credit to Klaus Wood Pellets & Outdoor Living for carrying those great products we use. Its been a while since we were at the Pawnee County Fair and haven't had much of a chance to post a whole lot just because life happens. Nonetheless we had a great time regardless of how dang warm it was. Friday night we took 3rd place in lamb chops, had a hiccup or two but still had fun! Saturday we were lucky enough to hear our number last in wings and heard our number called first in rib A. It was great seeing so many of our friends and family. I can't thank Big D's Q enough for their great products, guidance and being some of the best folks in the game! Klaus Wood Pellets & Outdoor Living for keeping everything we need to keep our fires hot, stocked up on everything and for all of the great conversations. Your store is by far the best in southwest Kansas! The Rib Cook Off Association is breathing new fire in competition cooking in our area and we cannot thank you enough. Its always grear seeing you! Lastly need to thank Cory Johnson for running one of the best competitions around. Many countless hours go into making sure us cooks we are taken care of and if we needed anything at all we had it. Thank you sir!
