Hey Friends!
It’s been a while since we’ve shared an update, and we’ve missed you! Life at Parrotdise is full of feathers, fun, and plenty of squawking joy. Our flock is thriving—happy, healthy, and soaking up the good life. While we’ve said some tough goodbyes to a few of our older birds, we’ve also welcomed new feathered friends and experienced some truly meaningful moments.
✨ One of our biggest moments yet recently happened...
As many of you know, rescue and rehabilitation are a huge part of our mission. Recently, we received an urgent call: a member of our local community had fallen seriously ill and undergone emergency surgery. Their family reached out, asking if we could take in their 9 parrots.
When we arrived, we were heartbroken to see the condition the birds were in. Though we’ll spare the details, the photos tell part of the story. We spent hours carefully removing them from their cages, comforting them, and gently introducing them to their new home.
We’re thrilled to say this rescue has been a success! These beautiful birds are already perking up, bonding with our flock, and rediscovering joy. We can’t wait for you all to meet them!
🦜 A Quick but Important Reminder
Parrots are incredible companions—intelligent, affectionate, and full of personality. But they’re also loud, messy, high-maintenance, and incredibly long-lived. Before bringing a parrot into your home, please make sure you’re fully prepared for the commitment.
If you or someone you know is no longer able to care for a parrot, please don’t hesitate to reach out. There are reputable rescues along with us here in the valley, and we’re always happy to help. And if you just want to enjoy some time with parrots—without the full-time responsibility—come visit us!
💚 Stay Tuned
There’s something BIG on the horizon for Parrotdise, and we’ll be sharing more very soon. You won’t want to miss it!
Thanks for all your continued support—and for being part of this feathered family.
Stay squawky, friends!
