Rafter JB Ranch

Directions Website

Rafter JB Ranch Quarter Horses and Cattle Rafter JB Ranch was established in 2005, and is located in Southwest Kansas, near Garden City.

It is owned and managed by Brock and Jennifer Baker. Our equine program involves raising and training Quarter Horses with the versatility and ability to compete in all areas of competition and perform daily ranch work. Our cattle program is divided into roping cattle and beef cattle. Roping cattle are mainly of Corriente breeding with some Watusi influence. We strive to raise roping cattle with heavy horn base and adequate length, allowing cattle to be roped at an earlier age. The beef cows are Braunvieh and Angus, and are being crossed on Angus bulls.
