We are the stampede for local agriculture, the epitome of pleasure, and the raw splintered eggshells of evolution. Our goal is to keep Idaho’s lips red and our hair and minds in temporary disarray. Our wines, much like a split rail fence, have structure and circumference, stand on thei

r own, and encourage an unobstructed panorama. So, barricade the bovine, corral the clodhoppers, and detain the doggies. For over a decade, Casey Lea has been one of the main cogs in Split Rail’s flywheel, managing the chaos and keeping our attention-deficient ducks in their sordid little rows. She’s helped build this weird little wine spaceship into the asteroid it is today.

Now she’s leaving the wine world for something a little more granola: land conservation. A huge loss for wine, and a very exciting win for Casey. 🥂

Come raise a glass, share a memory, and help us send her off properly.
