Delivering high quality local produce & foods to homes in the Lowcountry since 2009. A credit card will be required to sign up.

Quite simply the finest locally grown produce delivered directly to your doorstep each and every week. We harvest a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables from our local farms and deliver them right to your door. We work with regional farms who grow organically to ensure a good variety of produce year round. You choose the size of your Farmbag and the frequency you would like to receive your deliveries. The day that you receive delivery depends on your location, and the frequency of your delivery can be weekly or every other week. Customize your service after you sign up simply by replying to weekly newsletters you will begin getting after sign up. You let us know the item(s) you would not like to receive that week and you can specify what you would like to take its place. Feel free to add extra items for an event or dinner and we will add them to your next delivery. Payment is done by automatic payments that you set up when first signing up. You are only charged for deliveries received so you will not be billed if you are leaving town and have placed a hold on your service. We also have a refer-a-friend program which gets you a free add on for each person you refer to Local Farmbag. Learn more about our programs by calling our office at 912-272-4202.

It is rather difficult for me, Erik, to understand WHY the world would celebrate a day dedicated to a vile fungus but apparently, despite all logic and reason, there are billions of people who like mushrooms! REALLY like them. (even when they have little horns on them like in the photograph here. Yes it is a photo. Taken in my brain. After I ate a blue one) And TIL that 60% of the US supply of mushrooms comes from TWO counties in Pennsylvania. This week, Local Farmbag is offering Oyster Mushrooms but these come from much much closer to home, like Hardeeville, SC close. It is one of Ohio's most beloved holidays - International B**r and Pizza Day! And it falls on a Friday this year so we should ALL participate and celebrate to the extreme. Can you believe it is already Kale Day again?! It seems like we just took down our Kale Day decorations from last year (Kale Tree is back!) but it is here and bigger than ever. I just got back from the Kale Day Parade downtown and it was better than last year's by far! I cannot believe they got Red Hot Chili Peppers to play in Forsyth but apparently Flea's grandfather was a Kale farmer and it is an important holiday to them. As it is to all of us. So tonight, make sure to try and get some Kale into your supper or really anytime this week. Why? Because it is SUPER healthy for you! Highlights: powerful antioxidants, great for your eyes (lutein), full of anti-cancer compounds, lots of vitamins for your immune system, calcium and potassium and plenty of hotenase which the University of Scotland proved actually makes you more attractive both physically and on a deep soul level.
