Beautiful morning here on the FARM!! Cool crisp morning temperatures warming up for moderate sunny daytimes. Dusk coming earlier each day, such a great time of year, but also a signal for the coming end of another growing season.

But we still have plenty of goodies in the market.

Beautiful Fall morning from the FARM!!
Nice, moderate temperatures, sun shining with a bit of moisture in the air what could be better.❤️
Our crops are enjoying the break from the heat spell too. Tomato's are ripening like normal, we have a second smaller group of Cantaloupe ripening and a few Watermelon still coming ripe.
FALL seedlings were a bust and hardly had any germination so guess there's always next year.

Today in the Market:

Another great morning from the FARM!!!
Maybe the heat is done for now and we'll actually move to cooler temperatures.

Tomato's seem to be coming back from vacation, so shouldn't have a shortage now.

Fall seedlings don't seem to want to grow may have to replant some things for late season. It's always something with farming🤣🤣.

This week at the market:

Lots of RED slicing 🍅Tomato's 🍅 and GREEN Tomato's.

Peppers are loaded this time of year, both spicy 🌶(Anaheim, Garden Salsa, Hungarian Hot Wax, Poblano, Red Cayenne, Jalapeno and Habenero)🌶 and Bells of many colors 🫑(Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, Purple, Chocolate)🫑

Good morning from the FARM!! Finally seems like we'll get a break from those extreme temperatures. Fall season is quickly approaching and the end of our Spring/Summer growing season looms on the horizon.
With the cooler temps the 🍅 Tomato's 🍅 should kick back in to ripening until winter temps take their final toll usually in November.

Don't despair we still have lots of great produce to offer and 🍁FALL🍂 plantings are getting their feet in the soil.

Be on the lookout in October/November for 🥦Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, 🫛Peas, Green Beans, Beets, Kale, Kohlrabi and more.
Planting a few 🥒Cucumber too we'll see how they do this late since they really like the heat much better😬

Good morning from the FARM!! Usually this time of year we are starting to cool down and start moving into our fall season. Somehow the weather report doesn't show that with this next week all in the triple digits😬😬

Not to worry though, we still have plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

🍅Tomatoes🍅 are coming along, but a little slower. So if you're looking for slicers, sometimes I run short, but we should still have tomatoes into October and November so keep checking.
If you haven't done your tomato canning yet this year get your name on our list for #2 canners.

Alas 🥒cucumbers🥒 have given up and are done for the season.

🍉Watermelon🍉 is coming in several times thru the week so should have for awhile yet.
Cantaloupe is about finished for the season.

Good stock on both 🌶Spicy🌶 and
🫑Bell🫑 peppers (Jalapeno, Poblano, Garden Salsa, Hungarian Hot Wax, Red Cayenne and Habenero).

Excessive heat has taken a toll on the
🥬Lettuce🥬 production also but hope to have back in stock September 9th.

Starting a new batch of fall crops so stay tuned we aren't done.

Beautiful cool misty morning at the FARM!! Didn't show much rain in the gauge, but any is welcome before the heat comes back next week.
Quick update, the tomatoes have decided to go on vacation for a time until the weather. cools some. We have lots of green tomatoes, they just aren't turning red right now.
So 🍅Tomato's🍅 are in limited supply at the moment. But cantaloupe, watermelon and cucumbers are taking up the slack big time until the tomato's get back to work.
