Susie's Garden Patch We are a fresh fruit and vegetable market. We grow lots of luscious fruits and vegetables sprayed with the lowest amounts of chemicals possible.

It can be challenging for us to grow produce this way, but it's important to us that you have pure, delicious, worry-free fruit that's safe to eat. We're open from May 1st to Oct. 31st.

Let's talk about how local farmers are some of the main contributors to helping feed those in need in their communities.
You always hear us talk about our counterparts- well now its our time to brag about one of them.
Valley Orchard has been in business just as long as we have, our families are great friends.
Brandon called us up Friday night asking if we could help "glean" the Orchard, as the apples are going to Northern Illinois Food Bank. Kevin and Mary said sure thing, we'll help pick.
In this picture is appx. 200 bushels of apples. Between the NIFB and us, we made sure there were enough bins for the apples.
In true local farmer fashion we all do our small part to keep America Fed.

Looking for peppers to freeze or tomatos to can. Feel free to come strip the plants in the high tunnel. $6 a bag.

All carving or specialty pumpkins $3.
All pie pumpkins $.50 each.
All squash $1 each.

It’s a gorgeous Saturday, come see us at the farm from 9am to 5pm or the Belvidere Farmer’s Market until 1pm. Available: mums, corn, tomatoes, peaches, beans, fresh pies, homemade jam and more!

Also available for canning or freezing, 1 bushel of green beans ($40), tomatoes ($35 a bushel), and peaches ($40 a half bushel). We would love to see you!!
