I own and operate Butting Heads Farm along with my husband Rod and our three sons, Roddy, Chason, and Garrett. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you a little about my family, my farm, and the wonderful soaps that we feel so proud to be able to offer to you. Rod, the boys and I live in a 200 year old house located on 40 beautiful acres in South Gardiner, Maine. The house and land were passed d
own to me by my grandparents, who also tutored me in many of the traditional farming methods that we still use on the farm today. Our family stays busy working year round:
-Growing and selling vegetables
-Raising chickens and pigs to provide meat for our family
-Caring for laying hens and selling their eggs, and
-Raising goats and hand-milking them twice a day
It is the milk from our goats that provides the basis for the amazing soap that we produce here at Butting Heads. Using the traditional, time-honored methods of production passed down to me by my grandparents combined with the personalized nature of naming our bars, we think our Butting Heads Farm Soaps are special and truly unique, and trust you will, too.
