Peppers red and green, hummus (garlic, roasted peppers, radishes), refrigerator pickles (cucumbers, dill, garlic, chive vinegar), pico de gallo (orange cocktail tomatoes, jalapeños, cilantro, garlic). And yes I have garlic breath.

What to do when you’re drowning in tomatoes? There’s plenty of tomato sauce recipes out there but this basil-garlic tomato sauce from Ball Canning is my go to when I don’t feel like peeling 20 pounds of tomatoes and am looking for a safe shelf stable recipe. Want to try for yourself?

During off weeks from Gardner MA Farmers' Market we have a surplus of vegetables especially tomatoes at the moment. We’ve got about 100 pounds ready and more on the way. We’re offering a deal on 20 pounds of tomatoes, 2 garlic bulbs and a clam shell of basil for $40 ($68 value).

Pico de gallo made with diced tomatoes 🍅 garlic 🧄 jalapeño 🌶️ banana peppers 🫑 onion 🧅 cilantro 🌿 all from My Friend’s Farm (plus salt and lime juice).

Topped with pea shoot micro-greens 🥬 over tortilla chips and melted cheese.
