Good Keeper Farm

Good Keeper Farm Full Diet CSA. Year-Round. Local, Personal, and Delicious. We offer a year-round CSA membership that provides you with a complete and varied diet at a flat rate.

We produce our own dairy, vegetables, pork, poultry, eggs, herbs, and some small fruit, and supplement with breads, beef, and fruit purchased in bulk directly from local, conscientious producers. As a member, you visit the farm each week and select exactly what you want and how much you need from what we have available. February Share Sneak Peak*

Produce: Napa Cabbage, Green Cabbage, Garlic, Red and Yellow Onions, White Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Kale, Collards, Purple Top Turnips, Gold Ball Turnips, Chioggia Beets, Carrot, Diakon Radishes

Organic Fruit: York Apples from Oylers Fruit Farm, Biglerville

Dairy: Milk from our Jersey Cow (Also, Yogurt and Cheese a few times a month), Butter (from Apple Valley Creamery)

Eggs

Bread: Rustic Whole Grain Breads, including Seeded Loaf, Pugliese, Miche, Batard, cinnamon raisin, ciabatta, onion poppy seed, farmhouse round, fruit and nut, and more from Talking Breads Bakery and Flour Mill

Pork: Shoulder and Loin Roasts, Bacon, Ham, Breakfast and Country Sausage, Ribs, Chops, Scrapple (more sausage recipes to come: chorizo, bratwurst, sweet Italian)

Chicken: Whole Birds

Turkey: Whole Birds, Turkey Sausage, Half Birds, Smoked Legs, Thighs and Wings

Beef: Ground Beef, Variety of Roasts, Steaks, and Organs

We got our first egg today! Its been a few months since we sold off our old flock and our new flock arrived 2 weeks ago....

We got our first egg today!

Its been a few months since we sold off our old flock and our new flock arrived 2 weeks ago. They should be laying in full force very shortly!

Our laying hens help fertilize our heavy feeding plots of vegetables like fall brassicas, garlic and onions.

We are working hard to get summer crops in the ground now that we are clear of frost. Up next is cleaning out the herb and flower garden for our CSA!
