My time in Brittany, France as a teenager sparked my love for European butter. My host mother’s crepes, made with generous slabs of butter, left a lasting impression - especially the stunning dish that held the butter. I recently shared this memory with Michelle Mulligan, and she crafted a replica just for me! Now, she’s offering a pottery class where we can create our own. Join us on April 11 from 9am to noon as Michelle leads the way in crafting the perfect butter dish.

I know I’ve been MIA lately! But, we’ve been working on our lavender!

With all this sunshine ☀️ and warm temps here in Northern Nevada, we lavender growers are having to adapt and get things ready for what looks like an early season!

With that said, it’s pretty much guaranteed that we will get some weather - even though I’d like to think that my bit o’ Irish ancestry would bring me luck 🍀🤷‍♀️🤣

Have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️
Enjoy your day! …and please 🙏 don’t spray!
…Our native pollinators and our domestic honeybees are out collecting nectar and pollen!!

Our Fun and Funny Challenge has come to the end of its six weeks. This week, we ask our adopted lavender owners to nominate their babies for one of three categories:
1. Most Photogenic
2. Most Dramatic
3. Most Improved

Winners will be announced next week!

We will continue to have check-ins with our babies, especially next spring when all lavender plants start to break dormancy. We are excited that people joined along this goofy journey with us! We LOVED the creativity in this community. We hope to launch another challenge next spring.

Now, on to the awards!!
