Moving the steers. They are growing well - moving them just helps get them in fresh grass and let their old pastures rest. Aiming to grow our beef as nutrient dense as possible by providing them high quality forage with their supplemented grain.

Turning cedar invasion into something useful 🌲➡️🐄

Our farm had a heavy cedar problem, so we’re doing our part to reclaim pasture the right way — burning the small cedars and working with a local mill to turn the larger trees into porch beams, future chicken coops, swallow houses, and more. Every tree removed helps open the ground back up for grass, wildlife, and better silvopasture for our cattle. It’s all part of being better stewards of the land by giving native plants, pollinators, and wildlife a chance to thrive again.

Three years ago this was just a vision.
Now it’s daily herd checks, healthier cattle, and lessons learned every season. Grateful for the growth. 🌱🐄
