Ven a celebrar el DIA DE MU***OS!!!

I hope everyone had a fantastically spooky and fun Halloween yesterday!

If you’re hoping to find more autumn-based frivolity, here are a few Dia de los Mu***os events:

-37th Annual Dia de Mu***os art exhibit at the Bath House Cultural Center through November 4th

-2nd Annual Dia de los Mu***os Festival at Friends of Oakland Cemetery Dallas on November 4th from 10am-3pm
Bring photos of family members to add to the community altar or make your own family altar around the main circle. Food available for purchase from Chiquitas Mexican Food Truck. Performances by BALLET FOLKLORICO OLLIMPAXQUI, Alegre Ballet Folklorico, and W. E. Greiner Arts Academy Mariachi and Ballet Folklorico

-9th Annual Día de los Mu***os celebration at Crown Hill Memorial Park (Hughes Family Tribute Center) through November 5th.
Located at a cemetery that is traditionally visited by families on the Day of the Dead, the celebration starts off with an opening parade and includes a dance performance, live concerts, children’s activities, and more.

- Canal Walk at Las Colinas Texas on November 1st from 4-8
A celebration hosted by the U.S.-Mexico Cultural and Educational Foundation and the Las Colinas Association. The free event will feature mariachi music, performances by the Irving Symphony Orchestra, face painting, arts and crafts, a guac cart, mezcal tasting, marketplace, gondola cruises, and so much more.

-Before it closes its storefront in Bishop Arts, head to CocoAndre Chocolatier on November 4 for the annual Día de Los Mu***os Oak Cliff along with Oak Cliff Cultural Center. The family-friendly event includes live music, dance performances from native Dallas groups, food, arts and crafts, goods from local vendors, and more. Also, make sure to purchase one of the chocolate shop’s famous sugar skulls.
