Way of Water | a dance of flow, remembrance, and renewal

Join us for an evening devoted to the element of water, its wisdom, its rhythm, its life-giving force that connects all things.

This event features a special Water Honoring in collaboration with Rain Fresh Water, and an ecstatic dance wave guided by the immersive sounds of Seda Bliss.

All are welcome // we are a multigenerational, culturally, gender, and socioeconomically diverse community.

Remember // Everything you need for transformation lives in your own breath, bones, and blood. We practice dance as homecoming.

This is a sacred space to connect with your magical, mysterious nature through movement and stillness. The container is barefoot, nonverbal, and alcohol-free, designed for clarity, embodiment, and intention.

Water is not merely a substance moving through the body — it may be a medium of communication.
When water becomes ordered, it creates pathways of coherence: a state where many individual parts begin to move in relationship with the whole.
Like cloth catching the wind, each thread remains individual, yet participates in one shared movement. No thread disappears. No thread loses its uniqueness. And yet, when the wind moves through the fabric, the whole cloth responds as one.
This is also a metaphor for humanity.
We are each individual threads — different in color, texture, story, culture, rhythm, and experience. But when we enter coherence with one another, we do not become the same. We become harmonized.
Our individuality is not erased. It is woven into a greater pattern.
This is the spirit behind our upcoming Water Dance in collaboration with Dallas Movement Collective.
We are gathering as different people, with different bodies and different stories, to explore what it means to become coherent together.
Not through language.
Not through debate.
Not through performance.
But through movement.
Through breath.
Through rhythm.
Through listening with the body.
In a nonverbal space, we meet through presence, gesture, energy, boundaries, play, and flow. We remember that the movement of one affects the movement of all.
This may be the deeper lesson water is always offering us:
Life is not asking us to become identical.
Life is asking us to become coherent.

Moser, a Brazilian mechanic, came up with a simple yet brilliant idea in 2002: by filling a clear plastic bottle with water and a small amount of bleach (to prevent algae growth), and inserting it through the roof of a home, sunlight refracts through the water and spreads 360 degrees inside the room below. This creates a natural light source equivalent to a 40 to 60-watt bulb during daylight hours.

Known as the “Moser lamp,” this invention has been widely used in low-income communities and inspired the Liter of Light movement, bringing sustainable lighting to homes without electricity around the world.

My mission is to inspire curiosity about water—to remind people of its beauty, mystery, and awe. Water is not just something we drink; it is the essence of life itself, within us and all around us. Selling bottled water is simply the current vehicle for this message, but in truth, we seek to abolish our own industry. We envision a world where fresh, clean water flows freely—not just in bottles, but through the Earth, nourishing all life for generations to come.

Regardless of whether you believe in evolution or divine creation, water was there in the beginning. Evolutionists say that life began in water, with single cells multiplying and evolving. Creationists speak of God hovering over the face of the waters, bringing form to the formless with a word, a vibration, a frequency that shaped matter into existence. Either way, isn’t life just water dancing to the tune of solids?

When people truly understand the magic and beauty hidden in plain sight within water—what we ourselves are mostly made of—it changes everything. Some say we are 60–70% water. By molecular count, humans are 87% composed of hydrogen and oxygen atoms. It’s clear we are more water than anything else. We are basically walking, talking vessels of water. As if water is the portal for the spirit or consciousness to manifest in physical form. From one viewpoint you could say water grew arms, legs, eyes, ears, and a nose. Water is the medium which shapes our world both inside & outside, bringing order to experience itself.

All life depends on water. When we explore other planets, the first thing we search for is water—because where there is water, there is the possibility of life. Hydrogen and oxygen, yin and yang, masculine and feminine—water holds balance and unity within its very structure.

Investing our time, energy, resources, money, thoughts, words, and actions into water is not just worthwhile—it is essential. We cannot live more than three days without it. Water grows the food we eat, sustains the air we breathe, and carries the memory of life itself.

No one speaks of the “forest of youth,” but we have all heard of the fountain of youth.

It all begins and ends with water.

Sunday Reflections: How Can We Play with Mother Nature Today?

Let’s make it simple—let’s connect with water.

Here are a few ways to embrace presence and playfulness:

💧 Pouring Practice – Pour water back and forth between two glasses. Watch it move. Feel gratitude for its journey—through rivers, clouds, and now, through you.

💧 Heart Connection – Hold a glass of pure water against your chest, right next to your heart, for 30 seconds. (Yes, an awkwardly long hug with your water jug.) Whisper words of love and gratitude: “Thank you.” “I love you.” Or anything else your heart—and the water within you—needs to hear.

Or just pick up some rocks like I did in the picture above and make a pattern or design. Feel their texture. Toss them into a stream. Stack them. Let nature remind you that presence can be as simple as playing.
