This song resonated with me a little harder than I’m used to today. Between normal spring equipment breakdowns, then going to the field and driving 10 feet and something else breaking. Or spending hours with a newborn animal to try to save them, to watch them pass in your arms. To receiving what seems like new, weekly devastating news of a family member, friend, or person in the community for the past several months. 
I think there’s a lot of people we know that aren’t asking for an escalator or an elevator to climb the next hill, but we sure would like to see some stairs for a while instead of a grease covered slide to get up the next hill. Amen

Been a busy week around here

We had some friends lose a family member a couple weeks ago. He was a big-time avid outdoorsman. The family asked us if we could help with a display of some of his trophies for the funeral.  I was honored to be asked, so we made sure we created this with respect and a tribute to an avid hunter taken way too soon. There may not be hunting in heaven, but I sure hope we can just sit in the tree stand and watch still. 🙂
