The buckets are all down, arch cleaned, filter press stored away, gathering tanks cleaned and flushed out and ready for next year.
Better then last year’s harvest , 115 gallons made.
Just restocked at K&K Meats in Maple Hts., K&K Portage Meats in Lakewood and Fat Cats in Tremont has been replenished so they can serve KFMS🍁with their outstanding French toast or anything other wonderful recipe’s.

We have made 50+ gallons so far of Ohio maple 🍁 syrup. Looks like a good run of sap today. Thanks to Vince & Joe helping to gather👍🏻

The beginning of Krzys Family Maple Syrup🍁Going through photos and found pictures of Maple Dick with our second evaporator once we enclosed car port.
It was 2’x6’ tin arch wood fired. We then upgraded to stainless steel pans. Dick made a hood from wood and plastic sheets to capture steam to go up chimney’s.
Very basic but it worked.
