I don't know where the month has gone, but tomorrow is the last night for the Tuesday Harvest Markets on main streets. I'll be busy baking tonight- I'll have cookies, dill bread, rye bread, pesto swirl bread and a few more varieties available.

Here's a recipe I haven't made for a while - my grandma's old fashioned rye bread.

You might notice that its a bit lighter in color that your typical store bought rye - thats because it gets its coloring from molasses, not the cocoa that commercial rye typically has.

You can get a loaf to try for yourself at tomorrow's harvest market on main from 4:30-6.
