Gary United: The Community Gives Back!

The City of Gary, is partnering with Keith Lee, The Salvation Army, Ace Hardware, and Tyrese Haliburton, to support Gary families impacted by the storm.

Join us Monday, August 24, from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM at the Roosevelt Pavilion Parking Lot, 2201 Harrison St., Gary, IN 46407.

Families can receive:
Food
Storm relief and cleaning supplies
Community Resources

Requirements:
One relief kit per household. Limit of 2 households per vehicle.
While supplies last.

Come out to enjoy food trucks and music with DJ KCeaser. Join us in support of the storm relief efforts.

Johanna, que tú haces?
We are honored to be asked by World Central Kitchen to partner to serve our community in disaster relief efforts. We’re up early cooking our “Food from the Sol” making 200 meals for those in need.

Today we cleaned up our restaurant from the including throwing out a lot of food. (s/o to our staff doing deep cleaning and disinfecting all food surfaces) We also had to get our supplies & prep. Here’s a glimpse into some of our day.
