Today was a day I’ll never forget.

City View Food Truck held our 1st Annual Father’s Day Community Giveback, and we were blessed to serve over 100 senior and veteran fathers throughout our community. We were also honored to include and serve some of the senior mothers and women veterans as well.

What touched me most wasn’t just serving food—it was the conversations, the smiles, the stories, and seeing how much a simple visit meant to so many people. It reminded me that our seniors and veterans need more than a meal. They need our time, our respect, and our presence.

We have to do a better job as a community of checking on our elders and veterans, spending time with them, listening to them, and letting them know they are appreciated and never forgotten.

A special thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, helped serve, played music, and supported this event. Seeing so many people excited to give back filled my heart with gratitude.

Today wasn’t just about food. It was about love, appreciation, and community.

Thank you to every senior and veteran who welcomed us today. You made this day special, and this is only the beginning.
