To Our Popcorn World Family,
After much prayer, thoughtful reflection, and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our Gary location.
This was not an easy decision. Like many small businesses, we have faced increasing operating costs and changing business conditions that require us to step back, regroup, and build a stronger, more sustainable path forward. We believe taking this pause now will allow us to preserve the quality, creativity, and customer experience that have always been at the heart of Popcorn World.
We want everyone to know one thing: we are not leaving Gary.
Gary is our home. This city believed in us, celebrated with us, and helped transform a small family business into something truly special. Every bag of popcorn we’ve served has carried a piece of this community with it, and for that we will always be grateful.
To every customer, every family, every school, every church, every organization, and every business that chose Popcorn World—thank you. Your support, your referrals, your words of encouragement, and your loyalty have meant more to us than words can express.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply a pause.
Our vision for Popcorn World is bigger than ever, and we fully intend to return to Gary stronger, wiser, and better equipped to serve the community we love. We ask for your continued prayers, patience, and support as we work toward that next chapter.
Until then, thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to the day we can once again open our doors and welcome you back with the same great flavors you’ve come to love.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Popcorn World Family ❤️🍿🌎
