Chisholm Trail Farm

Chisholm Trail Farm Rooted in regenerative farming, powered by a stone mill, and always made from scratch.

We're here to bring real food back — one loaf, one recipe, one harvest at a time.

We made it insideTractor Supply just in time. The wind took Mike’s list, but good thing he had texted it to me too! 😂

After mowing tonight I sat myself down on the patio. Something I have not done in a long time. As I was enjoying the wind and the shade, I had a visitor show up.

It’s hot. It’s humid. I’m a mess. I say we call it a day.

A simple idea that guides everything we’re building.

We’re excited for the journey ahead.

Fun fact! Your coffee grinder isn’t just for coffee. Toss in flaxseed and you’ve got fresh ground flax in about 10 seconds! Fresher, cheaper, more nutrition, and more flavor!

Today is the day! 🙌🏼

Healing Harvest Market is HERE at the Fleet Farm Fargo Parking Lot, 10am-1pm. Local makers, fresh healthy food, and wellness vendors all in one place, and purchases from the market today are supporting a member of our community 💛

Mike’s showing off one of this year’s surprises… a volunteer turnip!

The field behind him is full of them.

Last fall, we planted a cover crop, but these turnips came up all on their own. Around here, we call that a bonus. More roots, more plant diversity, more food for the soil biology working beneath our feet.

The best part? We didn’t plant them this year, but our soil still gets the benefit.

Sometimes Mother Nature lends a helping hand.
