After the recent derecho hit our city and left so many of our neighbors without power, including ourselves, we witnessed something beautiful — Gary showed up for Gary. Neighbors helping neighbors, strangers lending a hand, businesses stepping up, and our community coming together when it mattered most.

That’s who we are.
That’s the heart of Gary.
And together, we are stronger.

Now, let’s come together for something joyful! 🎉

Chef Omizzi & Team is sending love to everyone affected by these devastating storms. We know how hard these last few days have been because our own family is among those without power.

These storms have also caused delays in our ability to serve as regular, as some of our essential equipment is currently trapped and inaccessible due to fallen trees. We are working as quickly and safely as possible to get everything cleared and back up and running. We are able to still cater private events since it only requires our small equipment!

We know there’s still uncertainty about when power will be restored for everyone. In the meantime, let’s keep checking on each other, helping where we can, and making sure our neighbors and loved ones are okay. ❤️

From our kitchen to your home — we’re praying for everyone affected and hoping brighter days are ahead. 🙏🏽🌮❤️
