🎪🎉 STEP RIGHT UP! NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK IS COMING! 🎉🎪

🍎🍕 October 12–16 is National School Lunch Week, and this year’s theme is “Cafeteria Circus!” 🎡🎟️

The Mississinewa Community Schools Child Nutrition Department is getting ready for a week FULL of fun, excitement, and delicious food! 🌟

We’ve got all sorts of exciting things planned for our students, and one of the BIGGEST treats is… 🥁🥁🥁

🍕 DOMINO’S PIZZA! 🍕

That’s right! We’re bringing Domino’s Pizza to our school cafeterias throughout the week!

📅 Check out the graphic below to see which day Domino’s Pizza will be served at your student’s school!

📢 PLEASE NOTE: Domino’s Pizza is a special menu change and will replace the originally published main entrée on those days!

At Mississinewa, we believe school lunch is about more than just a meal. It’s about nourishing our students, creating smiles, and making the cafeteria a place students look forward to visiting! ❤️💙

🍗✨ RJB’S NEW FAN FAVORITE! ✨🍗

Looks like we’ve got a new student favorite on the menu at R.J. Baskett! 🙌❤️

That crispy, golden chicken paired with green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy, a warm biscuit, fruit, and milk has officially been getting some BIG love from our students! 😋

When the kids start asking, “When are we having that again?”… you know it’s a winner! 👏

We love seeing our students enjoy their school meals! ❤️🤍

🎓 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🍎

We’re excited to welcome student workers to the Mississinewa Community Schools Child Nutrition Department through Work-Based Learning opportunities!

Work-Based Learning gives students the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world workplace experience while developing employability skills, responsibility, teamwork, communication, and career readiness.

Our student workers will have the opportunity to learn alongside our Child Nutrition professionals while gaining hands-on experience in school food service and the many skills it takes to serve our students each day.

We’re proud to help prepare the next generation of Wildcats for life beyond the classroom! 💙💛
