Happy Fathers day to all the great Dads out there, including mine! He gave me my love of sheep, and farming. Was my biggest supporter and partner in crime when we snuck all sorts of animals home.
He passed down his love of food and try everything at least once mentality. He made me think about the world and realize that opinions and beliefs can change and its ok to admit when it does.
He helped get me through my first flower gardening attempt, which then sparked my life long love and obsession with gardening. And taught me all i know about going and setting up at markets (although he does wish i was a better sales talker 😂).
And most importantly he taught me how to be happy. That sometimes life and situations suck but we can either move on and be happy or dwell on it while being a grump. And that true happiness comes from within and doing the things you truly love and making the most of the life you are given. Oh, and that girls can do anything they want and that i can do anything i want- even farming.
All he wanted to do today was go see the sheep and flower fields and have deliciois breakfast sandwhiches.
