Happy birthday to Keith—founder, owner, head of viticulture, and the person who has had his hands in this ground from the very beginning.
Before the vineyard had rows, before there was a road to it, there was work to do: clearing ground, setting posts, planting vines, and believing this place could become something lasting.
More than 40 years later, he’s still out there—walking the rows, checking the vines, calling the shots, and showing the next generation what it takes to build something with your hands.
Yesterday, on one of the hottest days of the summer, he spent his birthday exactly where you’d expect: in the vineyard. By evening, we traded the work for a cold bottle of sparkling, a family dinner, and grandkids running around.
Happy birthday, Keith. What you built continues to grow—in the vineyard, in the family, and in every harvest to come.
