I don’t have any pictures from the other night… this is just the remnants of a wonderful evening. On Saturday, we hosted our guys and their wives along with some of our support system to celebrate the end to a wonderful harvest and the upcoming holidays. The evening was full of great company and food! Speaking of food, if you are looking for someone to help you with an upcoming event I highly recommend contacting Adam Crouch with Crouch Meat Co.! The food and service was outstanding! Adam helped me with my menu to make sure we had enough food to feed all and wouldn’t be stuck with a bunch of leftovers. The best part…. I didn’t have to return any pans or utensils and cleanup was an absolute breeze! It was the perfect way to enjoy the evening and celebrate with our amazing crew! To our guys and their families for sometimes sacrificing time with each other THANK YOU! We appreciate you all! We couldn’t do what we do without you!

Given the kids busy schedules, I don’t get to get out here and enjoy a ride in the combine as much as I would like to.Today was the perfect day weather wise to press pause and spend some time with my forever favorite! I can’t let the kids have all the fun all the time. Lol Now back to my mom duties and chores. Happy Wednesday y’all!

The kids just wrapped up a wonderful staycation for fall break. A soggy end to last week meant they got to spend some extra time with dad over the weekend. While driving sis to school, I couldn’t help but pause for a quick second to capture the beauty of this morning. Even the grain bins appear to be a little groggy this morning. Praying for a safe return as many of our area farmers will be returning to their fields today. Now Mother Nature needs to cooperate so we can get harvest 2021 in the books! Happy fall y’all!

Our youngest got up super early to go with daddy to help set up our state fair pins. The boys stayed back and helped mommy out with a few things and home and tanned our pigs. Did you know pigs can tan too?

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Aunt Sandy and I spent the day freezing sweet corn today….23.5 dozen to be exact. While we didn’t plant any of our own this year I can definitely point you in the direction of some awesome sweet corn!
