He is JC registered and listed with AQHA (panel tested negative).
This 17hh stallion has huge bone and fantastic feet. He is producing quiet, easy offspring that are just starting to hit the show world as hunters and eventers.

I’m trying to do better at marketing, but it is always a struggle for me.
It’s weaning time and I like to get pre weaning pictures and video when possible.
First up is “Avery”.
Avery is a 7 month old TB x Clydesdale filly. She is a big, tough, correct girl. Already standing close to 15hh, she will easily mature iver 17hh.
She is gentle and sort of halter broke. Shes been ranch raised with four brothers - so she is a tough and tumble kinda girl.

Thor - registered Clydesdale. She had a gorgeous c**t by him last year, and then I bred her back but she didn’t cooperate with ovulating in a timely fashion so I rebred her with
Primo Danza - buckskin KWPN stallion.
We are excited to see whatever foal she produces for us this year.

Standing this year at River Edge Ranch are the two stallions “Belfry” and “Primo Danza” - live cover, on site AI, and shipped semen are offered for both stallions.
Belfry is a 17hh JC registered TB stallion. He is listed with AQHA and special consideration will be given to registered mares. He is a producing Sporthorse stallion with offspring (oldest now 5 year olds) showing promise as fox hunters, eventers and hunters. He adds length of leg and improves neck attachment, feet, and canter. Six panel negative.
Primo Danza is a 16.2 hh registered KWPN stallion. He is not approved.
He carries dilution gene and a W20 gene. He is negative for FFS.
This stallion has the best temperament. He loves to jump and he will make a fantastic dressage horse. His oldest foals are turning 2 years old.
I would designate him as a hunter type - but as that is not my realm, he also makes a fantastic eventing stallion.
I am downsizing so he will be gelded at the end of breeding season and rehomed. Available in the low to mid fives.

Breeding information: $600 stud fee with $150 chute fee. Stud fee due at heartbeat check.

Congrats to Cristie Palmer on her placings in the young horse development series.
Cristie gave me the opportunity to breed her fabulous mare EWSZ Akelei four years ago and this outstanding young horse was the result: Abendstern QP (Belfry xx - Amateur 1).
I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young superstar.
I have been standing Belfry (TB) at River Edge Ranch for the past 5 years, but my marketing/promotion skills are lacking.
I need to get the word out that he is capable of producing some quality foals.

Hanoverian registry

This 7 year old, 16hh mare has only been jumping since May. She really excels over fences and could easily cross over into equitation.
Holly attended her first show last weekend and was a rockstar. She will always catch the judges eye with her spectacular movement. The four years of dressage training has made her extremely rideable, balanced and steady.
She is still green, but loves to be a hunter and jumps a 10. Has an easy, clean change.
Show video available. Some of the highlights from the show include a fourth place in the Derby and first in her Equitation on the flat.

It’s breeding season and I never seem to be able to get far from home. The pens are full. Mares and foals everywhere.
Chores just blend from one feeding to the next with a couple of treatments or appointments in between, and a few hours of sleep at night.
My love of horses is in the doldrums.
I have to work to find humor in their antics.
Mindy Benson counted 47 head as my current population. I need that to change so I can find some balance in my life. I have a large group of quality youngsters that I would love to find new addresses for. Foals to three year olds.

Fiona (Hanoverian) had a HUGE c**t yesterday. I’m not sure how she had it curled up in there. Mindy and I assisted in the birth. He was so huge that he just couldn’t get his hind legs to cooperate.
It took both of us to get him on his feet.
Thankfully, Fiona has been a cooperative mom and everything seems to be going well now.

Following up on my earlier post from today.
The first picture is the IgG test that I run on newborn foals to make sure they’ve had enough colostrum and the antibodies that help them stay healthy. Tasha tagged him with the temporary name of “Archie”. The test spot shows a very strong level of reaction. So he is good to go.
Next up is Patches. Denlyn Pinetree Patches is 22 years old and this will be her last foal. She is bred to Primo Danza (my buckskin warmblood stallion). There is a chance it could be a buckskin!!!!

I finally caught a picture of Rhi that captures some of her presence.
Rhi is a massive (just shy of 17hh), KWPN reg B mare. She was born October 12, 2021. If you like the big girls, this one will definitely catch your eye.
Dam is Shiner - a big Clyde cross mare. Sire is Figaro B.
This girl could carry a knight in full armor into battle. Old style. Very bold, very laid back. Big, fluid, naturally balanced gaits.
Honestly, I see her being a phenomenal fox hunter, low/mid level eventer (you will get time penalties), mid level dressage horse or vaulting mount.
She should mature 17.2 - 18 hh.
