Blue Moon Ranch welcomes MINT*LEAF BLACK N TAN. Black N Tan is out of CH MINT*LEAF ECCENTRIC, a very stylish doe we love. We fell in love with Eccentric when we saw her go 2x CH 2x BOB and 2x BIS back in June of 2018.

We are so excited to have both of these bucks here. Black N Tan will see limited breedings this season (since most senior does have already been bred) but will be used heavily next season.

Blue Moon Ranch would like to introduce our new Jr Herdsire Mint*Leaf Masquerade. Masquerade is out of CH Mint*Leaf S Madeline (1st place 3 year old 2016 Nationals)

Masquerade will be used on most of our doe kids this year and one senior doe (name to come after confirmation 😉).

We are so proud of our girls at the Blue Moon Ranch 2 of which made the top ten list for production. First is SGCH Blue Moon Ranch AD Electra 2*M FS92 (EEEE) who earned the number 2 spot in milk and was also 1st place 5 year old 2nd place udder in the 2019 ADGA Nationals. 2019 was a good year for her.

2019 ADGA Nationals was so very exciting the girls all did their best. Blue Moon Ranch MLK Lexy went Reserve Junior National Champion. ❤️ We love this kid and can’t wait to see her fresh next year.

SGCH Blue Moon Ranch AD Electra 2*M 92 EEEE

Electra placed 1st/2nd udder in the 5/6 year old class. Electra’s Granddaughter, Lexy, went Reserve Jr Champion at Nationals. We love Electra and can’t wait to put together breeding plans for this gem.

Maternal sisters, SGCH Blue Moon Ranch AD Electra 2*M and GCH Blue Moon Ranch PT Hermes 2*M demonstrating what a strong dam line can do! SGCH Blue Moon Ranch AD Electra 2*M was 1st/2ndU 5-6 Year Old, and GCH Blue Moon Ranch PT Hermes was 3rd/2ndU 3 Year Old, as well as receiving Premier Youth Senior Doe (Hermes is owned by Audrey Greenwood/Argonne’s Dairy Goats). There is so much to love about these sisters. As you can see, both excel in all areas of the scorecard. But what’s better then a pretty goat? Pretty goats who can reproduce themselves, as both of these sisters have done! We’re still over the moon about nationals. Looking forward to breeding season🙂

We are very excited to introduce our new Jr herd sire *B Lucky*Star’s RJ Legolas. We have always admired his dam Epic and his sire’s dam Haiku. We want to thank Judi and Don Hoy for allowing Legolas to come live at our farm. He will be used heavily this breeding season.

We are very pleased with how Son of Zoren appraised this spring. He was a 91 EEE with an E in head, shoulders, back and rump. His daughters from this year are looking very beautiful.
