Off World Farms, est. Spring 2020, produces local, sustainable, homegrown mushrooms year-round. Thank you for following our page and supporting us!!!

Welcome to Off World Farms (also on Instagram ), founded by Alex and Lynsey Walker. Our farming journey began in the Spring of 2020 amid major global and personal changes. After moving from Eau Claire, WI to Alex's childhood farm (near Mt. Zion) in G**s Mills, WI, and marrying in February of 2020; we started Off World Farms, initially as a hobby, which included growing a variety of p

lants and trees. Our focus has since evolved, into a true passion for growing mushrooms. Over time, we've been able to successfully expand our mushroom production through multiple building projects on the farm. Today we sell fresh Shiitake mushrooms at our local Farmer's Markets (currently in Boscobel and Richland Center). Our future goals include: attending additional weekly Farmer's Markets, partnering with local restaurants, growing a variety of mushroom types, mushroom processing expansion, and making mushrooms available to purchase through our website. Great produce for the markets today! 🥰 At the Boscobel Market we will have our final Pepper plant sale for the season ~ Sweet and Jalapeno plants! And both Boscobel's and Viroqua's markets will have our microgreen varieties and Shiitake. We hope to see you there!

Happy Saturday everyone! We will be at our usual spots in Boscobel and Viroqua today with mushrooms and microgreens ~ And in addition to our regular produce we will also have rhubarb and pepper plants available *at the Boscobel only*. Hope to see you there!

Our Shiitake mushrooms really took off this past week 🍄‍🟫 They love the weather this time of year as much as we do ❤️ You can find us in Boscobel until Noon and Viroqua until 12:30 today, along with our partner, Vintage Acres for your microgreens.

With the price of gas going up, it's makes even more sense to shop locally. The Boscobel Farmers' Market is one local spot that has so many wonderful products. Direct from the producer to you!

It's another gorgeous Saturday morning to make it out to your local farmer's market! Time to replenish and grab a bag of Shiitake mushrooms and don't forget some microgreens to help celebrate Mother's Day weekend 😊 We will be at the Boscobel and Viroqua markets until 12/12:30.

📌 You may have noticed a slight change recently in some of our signage/advertising, so to give everyone a bit of clarity ~
This year, Off World Farms has officially started a partnership with Vintage Acres Farm (headed by Larry Walker) to provide you with our best quality and variety of microgreens. The only major change is in the name and in this post we've provided Vintage Acres contact information if you have any specific requests and/or questions about the microgreens.
Off World Farms (headed by Alex Walker) will continue to focus on providing you with delicious Shiitake mushrooms. As we continue to expand and improve the growing procress here at the farm, we hope to have other mushroom varieties available in the future.
Both Off World Farms and Vintage Acres Farm will continue to team up and attend our usual Summer farmer's markets in Richland Center on Wednesdays Noon-4pm and in Boscobel & Viroqua on Saturday mornings.

Today Off World Farms is at the last Boscobel market of the year! We have all of our usual goodies, fresh Shiitake mushrooms and tasty microgreen varieties 😋 We are looking forward to all of the exciting projects 2026 has in store 💗 After today, the Boscobel Farmers Market will be taking January off, and starting back up in February every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month 📆 Everyone take care and stay warm this winter!!!
