Hello, Grant here. After much contemplation, I have decided to end my efforts in selling quarters of beef as you currently know it. Will a new business model emerge? It is too early to say. So for now, I must just give thanks to what was.
I'd like to thank my Dad for access to his premium line of highly marbled cattle over the years. As well as Barney Gehl and Blake Wyffels for the conversations, feeding, and time spent working together.
I'd also like to thank many processors, notably Barb Hartman former owner of Carroll County Locker, and now Shawna Houzenga for great work cutting and packaging the beef. I'd also like to thank long time friends and processors Dan and Tracy Weber of Weber's Processing, Cuba City WI. They all do a great job and can help with your continued needs for beef and other meats.
If you are looking for a quarter this year, I'd like to direct you to Shane Anderson. We've worked together for years and some of you have already bought beef from him. Our genetics and best practices have quite a bit of overlap. He serves customers in the Galena, IL area and takes beef to Webers from April-Jul if you want to get in on a quarter.
