Happy Sunday friends 🌥️

It’s been a busy few weeks here (anyone ever tired of hearing that, because I’m almost tired of saying it 😅)

We have started back up going to the butcher, and we are looking down the barrel of our final stretch of freezer beef season.

Weaning these two went so smooth I’m almost not sure it really happened 😅 The approach we took of the quiet wean nose rings and then fence line weaning with their mothers really worked out well.

These two girls are growing so well, and we couldn’t be more fond of Miss Hope who is just a heck of a calf for being an oopsie. Before we know it they will be grown girls joining the momma cow herd ♥️

We are a little late posting because we were waiting to introduce someone! This is Miss Lola, our newest cow to add to our momma herd 😍

A huge thank you to Carousel Farms for such a wonderful opportunity to own this beautiful girl! We are so very happy to have her here!

As for other farm news: We actually will not be delivering any beef this week, but will start back up heading to the butcher next week. We have a few spots left if you are still looking to fill your freezer with local American raised beef 🥩 🇺🇸 Message us if you’d like to be added to our list!

We are just a few weeks away from weaning, but shh 🤫 don’t tell Hope and Petunia 😉

Because this is our first time weaning we are making sure we have everything ready for the transition to be as smooth as possible for both mommas and the littles. The least amount of stress we can cause everyone the better 😬

Happy Saturday friends 🫶🏻

It’s been a couple weeks since we have posted, and just know we are still out here every day with the cows and working on things, it just seems the days all blend together 😅

We have brought two loads of cows to the butcher and that means we will be loading the beef box up soon to start our deliveries 🚚 📦 🙌🏻

Even after talking last year about not having deliveries to do every week I fear we may have forgotten that promise we made to ourselves 😬 . But with our amazing customers we don’t ever mind, knowing how much we have been supported every year since starting this makes those long days so worth it!

We have a busy day here today with preparing for the heat this coming week. Everyone is working through the chute for fly control, we will be weighing cows to start solidifying butcher dates, and lots of projects to tidy up both in the pasture and at the house!

Happy to have the youngest farmer with us lending another set of capable hands 🙌🏻

Wishing the Happiest of Father’s Day to our Casey ♥️

Our resident fix it, build it, dream it guy who if you ask these days who his favorite cow is will probably smile and tell you Hope 🫶🏻 There isn’t a thing that goes on around here that he doesn’t have a hand in, and we couldn’t be more grateful for him and all he does.
