The third generation of Charlie and son Frank however, decided to go one step further and open their wines to the public. And so, the Virant Family Winery was born. Our wines are made the old-fashioned way, with a lot of pride and patience. They have a fruity aroma, with a crisp grape taste, and a very pleasant after taste. We currently offer sixteen different wines with a new maple bourbon aged R
iesling coming soon. Our winery offers a relaxing atmosphere along with a snack food menu. On Fridays and Saturdays during our dinner hours of 5-8pm, we offer Steak, Pork Chop, Shrimp, Chicken, Prime Rib or Ribs. We would like to make your acquaintance, so please come and visit our winery on Atkins Road in Harpersfield, Ohio (just south of Geneva). If you cannot visit soon, please consider ordering our wines by the bottle or the case. We are now able to ship anywhere in Ohio. Many local stores carry our wines.
