Torrey Park, guests will be transported through Austria with Leo Sommer of Weingut Sommer, Nikolaus “Niki” Saahs of Nikolaihof Wachau, and Max Trabitsch of Weingut Jurtschitsch. A massive shoutout to the teams Bowler Wine Skurnik Wines & Spirits for making this a reality! 🫶🏾

And Anorah, you are in for a treat. Shane Munn of Martin's Lane Winery will be teaming up with Peter Becraft of Anthony Road | Finger Lakes Winery for a special “choose your own adventure” dining experience, where guests can select featured dishes from the menu and pair them with suggested wines. You get to move at your own pace, enjoy a taste of what FLXcursion has to offer, and spend time with some truly incredible humans. 😎

New for FLXcursion 2026, we’re kicking off the weekend by celebrating one of Geneva’s greatest assets: our incredible local wine shops. Introducing… PREcursion! 🎉

PREcursion provides a PREVIEW of wines you will see the entire FLXcursion and it is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!

On Friday night, our friends at Aszú Wines & Spirits , Collective Wine & Supply, and Bottleland Wine & Spirits will be pouring an exciting lineup of wines from heralded producers, highlighting their amazing stories. From Austria + Germany to the FLX, come share in this beautiful time with some incredible partners!

When I decided to join FLXcursion as a conference director, one of my main missions was to help create a conference centered on the important conversations happening within our industry, while highlighting dynamic and diverse voices and creating more equitable access to this event.

As I continue my journey through wine, I am grateful for individuals such as Maryam Ahmed (Maryam Ahmed), one of our distinguished moderators leading a panel entitled “Wine, Wellness and Other Modern Contradictions.” Maryam is the founder of Maryam Ahmed, the pioneer behind Field Blends — of which I am an alum, yay Lodi 🥳 — and someone who lives, eats, and breathes creating access to wine spaces for all.

So when Maryam approached me about collaborating to create four equity tickets to FLXcursion, I jumped at the chance. And if there is one way I want to leave my mark on this conference, this is it.

I want to introduce some of the excellent up-and-coming wine, education, and hospitality attendees who will be joining us for FLXcursion: my fellow Field Blends: Lodi alum Quayla (Quayla Allen-Comella), Field Blends alum Nick (Nick Angel), current Field Blends: NY attendee Chardanay (lavish_vineswines), and our PhD candidate from SUNY Binghamton, Melika ().

These rising leaders in wine, education, and hospitality represent exactly why conferences like FLXcursion exist: to create opportunity, foster meaningful connections, and ensure that the future of our industry is more inclusive, more collaborative, and stronger because of it.

FLXcursion is bringing the Grand Tasting to downtown Geneva on Saturday, June 27th, and this year we are making it bigger, more dynamic, and more public-facing than ever.
Join us on Linden Street for an afternoon of exceptional wine, community, food, hospitality, and the kind of energy that makes Geneva and the Finger Lakes so special.

This tasting will feature local Finger Lakes producers alongside international wineries, importers, distributors, and vendors from around the world. Riesling will always be at the heart of FLXcursion, but this Grand Tasting is also a celebration of cool-climate wine in all its forms: aromatic whites, sparkling wines, reds, rosé, textured wines, unexpected varieties, and bottles that tell a real story of place.

If you have ever wanted to volunteer at a premier wine conference, NOW IS THE TIME! 🙌🏽

FLXcursion 2026 is looking for volunteers to help bring this incredible weekend to life.

Check out the Google Form link in bio or DM your email address to be added to the list.

We will host a virtual volunteer meeting on Friday, May 29, 2026, to begin coordination, designate volunteer groups, share a more detailed schedule of events, and discuss how you can best support the conference.

No experience necessary but smiles, vibes and enthusiasm will always be welcomed!! 🤩

Volunteers have always helped drive the success of FLXcursion, and this year is no different.
