Calling all table-clearing pros, wine-stockers, and weekend hustlers!

Prairie State Winery is looking for a Weekend Busser to join our crew!

If you’re fast on your feet, love keeping things tidy, and don't mind the satisfying sound of squeaky-clean glassware, we’ve got a spot for you.

What you’ll be doing:
Bussing Tables: Keeping our seating areas sparkling clean and clear for the next round of guests.

Stocking Wine: Keeping the wine shelves fully loaded and ready to pour

Washing Glassware: Keeping those glasses shiny and crystal-clear 🥂

Who fits the bill?
Students (16+): Looking for some extra cash to stash away for college? Come get some solid work experience, build up your savings account, and hang out with a great team!

Adults: Need an excuse to escape the chaos at home, get a well-deserved break from the kids for a few hours, and take full advantage of our sweet employee wine discount? We won't tell anyone it’s your favorite form of self-care. 😉

Bringing Prairie State Winery closer to home has been one of our top goals, and we’re thrilled to announce a huge step forward in making that happen!

Starting today, you can find 20 of your favorite Prairie State wines right on the shelves at Woodman’s Food Market in Rockford (Perryville Rd.).

Whether you're gearing up for a weekend gathering, picking up dinner pairings, or simply restocking your wine rack, your go-to local bottles are now as accessible as your routine grocery run. From our signature crisp whites and bold reds to beloved seasonal favorites, we’ve brought a broad lineup north just for you.

Why the Expansion?
Our tasting room in Genoa will always be our home base, but we know a drive down Route 23 isn't always in the cards during a busy week. By partnering with Woodman’s, we’re making it easier than ever for our Rockford friends and long-time supporters to grab local Illinois wine whenever the mood strikes.

It is time again to celebrate YOU! We thank you all so much for your commitment to Prairie State Winery. It means the world to us that you have joined our wine club. Some of you have been members for many years and some, just a few days!

We appreciate you all!
Club Member Party:
Friday, August 21st

Time:
6:00pm-9:30pm
Food will served between 6pm-7pm

Music:
The Steve Sharp Band
6:30pm-9:00pm

All guests must be 21+, no outside food or alcohol permitted

Where:
East Parking Lot at Prairie State Winery

Who Can I Bring?:

Wine Club Members are allowed to buy tickets for the equivalent number of guests as to members. (ex. If you and your spouse are wine club members then you can purchase up to 2 additional tickets)

What To Expect:

This will be an outdoor "picnic style" event-bring your own lawn chairs or blankets on which to sit. You are also welcome to bring a small table (4' max)

Food Options

(Make sure to select the correct food option when purchasing your ticket)

Italian Sausage +peppers and onions with marinara
or
Vegetarian Sausage + peppers and onions with marinara

All sausages will be served with sides and a dessert.

Drink Options:

All wines by the bottle or glass will be for sale as well as wine slushies.

(Tastings and Flights will not be available for this event.)

All drink purchases will be made at the bar as-you-go.

You can purchase slushie tickets at the bar.

When You Arrive:

The parking lot will be open at 5:00 for you to set up your chairs before checking in.

Check in inside at counter with staff to check membership status and receive a wrist band. Each person needs to come in for a wrist band. Wrist bands will not be given to one member of your group to distribute.

You may also purchase bottles or glasses to take back to your seats after you check in. (at the bar)

Inclement Weather:
In case of heavy rain, this event will most likely be moved inside. Please bring an umbrella if it calls for any light rain! We will send an email the day of the the event if anything changes.
