Heide & Joey wed on July 24th, 2021 at State Road Gardens Farm, in Genoa, Illinois. This Kane County venue is wildly popular for rustic barn weddings, and theirs was no exception.

Heide was one of the calmest brides I've worked with to date.

A boutonniere was missing. "It's ok." It started pouring rain during the first look with Joey. "It's fine, it's just rain." Her team forgot to grab her garter for the garter toss. "We'll use a napkin tied around my leg."

Her biggest concern leading up to her wedding day was her photos. "I want to make sure we have lots of time for formal photos." I told her not to worry. "My house is such a mess, I'm so sorry, it's not ideal."

I made it work, and Heide's formal pictures came out perfect!
