Made the mistake of trusting a new incubator. Already had a maticoopx in fact I had one of each. Apparently I set it and forget it. Had amazing eggs from Almost something like a Tiny Farm and out of 24 eggs I got 3 chicks! This is definitely not on them and all my fault. Lots of deformed babies that were never going to make it. Even if you know it's good quality don't trust it till it proves itself. Here is our little Miracle. The other two were adopted by some mama hens but she got rejected so we moved her in the garage with some other babies. I was so afraid she would not make it but is now thriving. Now if it will stop raining so my older chicks can do better.

House update. We were in an Airbnb for over a week to get floors installed. 🫣. One of the countertops came the wrong color so we have to switch it out before the back splash can be done. Wall expansion for pantry is moving along. Tankless water heater is in. Tomorrow pictures of how the grow outs are doing. You won't believe how big Golden has gotten. Can't wait to see her babies!!!

I'm back.... You guys I had to step away to focus on this dang house and kiddos. We still have a lot going on but I have lots of updates to share this week.!

I still have not heard from the state. I have a feeling my stuff went to a wrong email so calling tomorrow but found my NPIP on the AR state list. So I am at least less stressed lol.

Also have you ever wondered what an Amaya cemani and silkie looks like. Before we split them up in the spring this little girly came. She isn't staying and totally up for grabs but so fun to look at.

Updates:
We are alive and well.... It has been a minute but I'm super busy between chickens, chicks, appointments for myself and kids. And the HOUSE. Currently in an Airbnb while we go back and forth tearing out flooring and putting new flooring in. Building a wall to grow the pantry. Switching out the water heater. Started this week and the goal is to be done by Wednesday. 😬🤞We got countertops in but one of them is the wrong one so they have to make that countertop over and reinstall. ... Then backsplash can be worked on. Hopefully I can catch up on everything I missed on your pages soon!!!

RIP: Ginny😭. Freaking Hawks/or dog. Managed to save all the babies but lost her. She was the sweetest.
