This little cutie went to a sweet gal pal of mine who just had surgery. Hopefully it brightened her day to have it doorbell ditched 🥰

Our Galentine’s brunch + bud vase workshop filled my heart 🥰🖤

My favorite part? Watching everyone create something completely different using the same materials. It’s such a reminder that creativity is personal — and beautiful in its own way.

There’s something so special about gathering women together to create — especially when the materials come straight from the farm. We used dried eucalyptus, cedar, and yaupon greens gathered from our pasture 🌾 + feathers from our turkeys, guineas, and chickens 🪶 along with dried and hand-painted accents.

Would you come to a farm flower workshop like this? 💐✨

Excited to teach a Galentine’s bud vase arranging class tomorrow! 💐✨
Prepping the prettiest Valentine blooms and counting down.
I’ll show you where I’m foraging some greens for it a little later! 🥰
Would you come to a flower arranging brunch with your girls?

They wait outside my door/gate for me every morning and then chase me to the barn to get their breakfast 😅🤪 they have plenty of grass and bugs to chase - but nothing beats a free meal 😂 we have sooo many freeloading hens that are just past their prime laying years right now 😵‍💫🫠😅 but I love them 😍

Teaching the next generation where food, love, and hard work really come from 🌱🐄 tiny hands, muddy boots, and cows that come running for love (and maybe treats 😉). Those are the little memories I’ll never forget. If this is your kind of life, you’re in the right place.

I saved two pumpkins away as decorations in my house for months… today I finally fed them to the cows (they ate over a hundred pumpkins this fall so don’t feel too bad that I held out so long. 😅) this was a nice little Monday treat 🥰🐄🎃 did you know that cows LOVE pumpkins?!

Love this life for my kids so much 🥹 one of the hardest working lil guys. He loves to help, and he gets to learn how to do hard things early on. He is so proud of himself when he completes a hard task, too. 🥹🤩🥰 so blessed

Our little ranch hand is working hard to fatten up your thanksgiving turkeys this last week! When we ordered the turkeys this year we said that we would put the profits towards his Christmas 🎄 wish list. So he has had to help with the work of raising them up!
He (we) have 3 left available if anyone else wants a free range, freshest you can get it turkey! They truly taste better than any store bought turkey you’ve ever had and they lived a nice life outdoors, on grass with only one bad day! They are spending these last couple of weeks in our garden to fertilize it for Spring - but they can and do occasionally hop out if they want to.
We butchered a couple yesterday so that we didn’t have to do them all in one day next weekend- and I have parted those out to grind up- so I might potentially have a small amount of ground turkey meat available as well if you just want a pound or two.
Or possibly a thigh or drum.
We also have some chicken and duck eggs available. Pickup on our farm in Smithville or meetup Monday or Tuesday (haven’t decided which day yet) in Georgetown the week of Thanksgiving.

Our livestock guardian brought us a sheep or goat skeleton 🫣🧡🎃 just in time for spooky season. It wasn’t one of our goats 😬🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ no idea where he found it. His tracking collar didn’t show him roaming the several days before it appeared. Maybe he was keeping it in the back corner for a little while before bringing it up near the house 🫣🤷🏻‍♀️👻
