Culinary Heritage Institute (CHI) Preserving Our Culinary Past while Promoting Our Culinary Future Culinary Heritage Institute (CHI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity.

EIN # 27-4017380

CHI is inspired to discuss traditions through the medium of storytelling, art and inter-generational programs to ensure culinary heritage – the ingredients, recipes, methods and traditions that make up rich legacies – is kept alive. Believing it is important to pass along culinary traditions to the next generations, CHI has developed multiple avenues to do this. CHI is dedicated t

o strengthening families, individuals and communities, and to encouraging culinary historical investigation, exploration and preservation. While we look for our perfect space, we currently office in a historic chapel in Georgetown, TX. CHI's desired space will provided enough land to create an inviting and comprehensive destination place for all ages. The space will allow us to not only show the origins of our food, but how it was and is made and how and why food is such an important part of our culture and heritage.
