Another great opportunity for small businesses. The Business on Main Street Accelerator is back and accepting applications. This 8-week program includes 6 virtual sessions and 2 in-person sessions in Dover, giving entrepreneurs the tools, strategies, and support to accelerate their business growth. The deadline to apply is August 31st!

This is a great opportunity! The Delaware Division of Small Business EDGE Grant Competition is now open and accepting applications until September 11th! A total of $1.15M is available for applicants in two categories. The scaled funding model lets judges award grants based on the strength of your proposal and the quality of your pitch.

Carlos and Kismet turned a dream into reality when they moved to Sussex County in 2022, bringing authentic Dominican flavors and family recipes with them. Carlos has been cooking since he was a young boy alongside his mother, and today every dish is made with the same passion, tradition, and love.

Participants will gain practical tools, expert guidance, and valuable connections through a mix of virtual sessions and in-person workshops in Dover.

A little lunch time member shout out...introducing Edward Pardocchi, owner of Pi2 Square Pies! Ed has been an amazing member of the Sussex Kitchen for a couple of years now and we can't get enough of his delicious pies. Pi2 is a farmer’s market favorite . Specializing in Italian street fare and fresh baked goods. Known for tomato pie and stuffed focaccia, you can find them at the Nassau Vineyards and Rehoboth Beach markets in season. Throw him a follow and stop by to say hi at one of the markets!
