We had a wonderful experience with Appalachian Custom Shearing Neal and Mark for an awesome and patient job with our alpacas and llama on Friday. They were wonderful to work with and incredible to learn from as well. It’s never too later to learn new things and while we’ve had a farm and many animals and crops over the past 45+years we love our new alpacas a little too much! And our goats love them too!! They were a perfect addition to our farm family!

Have you given yourself permission to slow down today?

A quiet morning watching the sheep graze in the soft light, everything moving at an easier pace. It’s okay to pause, breathe, and let things feel a little lighter before the week begins. A gentle reminder that slowing down is enough. 🐑🌿

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

We keep things a little quieter around the farm this holiday weekend, but don’t miss our Opening Weekend next week… because after Memorial Day, it’s FULL SPEED into goat times!! 🐐☀️

Get ready for baby goats, alpacas, yoga, hikes, music, tea times, and all the summer farm fun ahead. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the farm!

This holiday weekend, we’re stepping back to enjoy time with family, community, and nature so there are no events at our farm. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Friday was an incredible, full day on the farm and beyond. The morning began with shearing day for Dolly, our llama, along with all eight of our alpacas—always such a transformation watching them go from full fleece to summer-ready.

From there, we headed to Zorvino Vineyards to launch our monthly Wine Down Goat Yoga series in this beautiful setting we love visiting. It was a wonderful kickoff in such a scenic and sunshine filled, welcoming space.

Back at the farm, the day wrapped with our first guest group meeting the alpacas in their freshly trimmed, delightfully smaller, and much less fluffy summer look.

We’re excited to welcome you back next Friday as we kick off summer events on the farm—starting with Sip & Sound, followed by a full weekend of goats, alpacas, and all the seasonal joy ahead.

If you’re a morning person… or trying to become one… tomorrow’s the day to head to the farm! 🦙☀️

It’s shearing day for the alpacas and llama from 8AM–9AM! Watch the transformation as they lose all that fluffy winter fiber and get ready for summer. It’s always amazing to see these fuzzy friends turn into tiny alpacas before your eyes! 👀 🦙

How did your morning start? ☀️🐐
Mine started running goats from one pasture to the next for fresh browsing!

Farm life is hard work, dirty boots, early mornings, and nonstop movement… but moments like this make it all worth it. 💚

Wouldn’t you rather be hanging out with goats?

We’re looking for hardworking animal lovers to join our farm team for seasonal help, events, and farm work. Send us a message if interested! 🌿🐐

On Monday, we welcomed Russ Cohen to the farm as a special guest speaker during our morning guided farm walk, where he shared his knowledge of edible plants of New England!

We were treated to beautiful weather and such a wonderful group for the event. Guests enjoyed exploring the farm, connecting with nature, and learning more about the wild edibles growing all around us.

A special thank you to Russ Cohen for sharing his incredible knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for nature and foraging with all of us. It was truly a memorable morning!
