This is what u call “crazy comb”. I needed to put another super on it but never did. Pulled 200lbs. Good year. 10 plus gallons. Now when I get around to it ………. Couple weeks. I’ll spin it. Cost this year 25 qt. 15 pint. I’ll set up two “come get yo honey” mornings on two consecutive Saturdays!!! More to follow on that ! And yes it was hot. One sting and about half the time,not even a veil. They were very chill today

Well I’m going to do it. Going to start raising queens this spring and summer. And I’m going to raise good!!!! ones!!!! The plan……. Is the raise,mate them and see what their laying pattern is. If no good ,squish,rinse and repeat. I have never been able to buy “quality” queens bees locally. Wish me luck but I like doing tuff stuff. Nothing easy is fun. More to follow

Well,long story but a lot of times I’ll throw the supers In the van and then spin them a little later. Went to grab them last week,something came up and couldn’t spin and didn’t get the door closed real tite. News got out😬

Mighty tight spot to be treating for mites. Really meant to move these hives. Never happened🤔😜. Getting the girls ready for winter !!

Treated the girls for varoaa this afternoon. Earliest I have in the season ,I think ever. Pretty sure I had a high mite count. Found some in capped brood. 10 hives is a lot to treat!! Took me about an hour. Still have “expanding” on the brain. All honey sales will go back into equipment.

Ok many of u have asked for honey and I haven’t gotten y’all a drop!! I’m sorry been busy and everyone is soooooo spread out. We’re going to start I guess having “honey days”. Open invite for anyone to come to a designated place. Here,maybe somewhere on greensboro,highpoint ??? I pulled at least 200lbs yesterday!!!!! Gotta get it gone. More to follow!!! Thanks

Been real slack posting. I will add some pics but all is good in the bee world. Caught my first swarm this year today. The most hives I’ve had a one time has been ten I think. I’ve got 9 now!! Getting close. Still have honey 20 qt Take care
