Nine… she had NINE 😅

Well, this definitely wasn’t part of the plan, but Lainey and George decided to have a spontaneous “date night” a few months ago when they slipped through the fence. Today, on the hottest day of the year so far, we welcomed 9 Anatolian Shepherd puppies into the world. Both momma and puppies are doing great!

It amazes me every time how tiny they are when they’re born, knowing they’ll grow into incredible livestock guardian dogs that protect our animals and the property.

We’ll be sharing individual puppy pictures soon, but for now, meet the newest members of the farm: 5 boys and 4 girls! 🩷🩵🐾

We had a surprise visitor napping under the skid steer! Sweet baby scrambled out when it was started, my momma got to live her dream by holding it, and then it was released to its REAL momma right away🦌💛
