We finally took a family trip to the whiskey museum in Barsdtown, KY. We were able to visit one of our bottles at the Oscar Getz Museum and meet the town's local historian and former mayor, Dixie Hibbs. The Museum is at Spalding Hall. It was previously St. Joseph College, later a hospital during the civil war, and later still a boys orphanage and then a boys preparatory school. So much history even before the whiskey arrived. We stopped by The Old Talbott Tavern as well.
