Family Owned and Operated Butcher Shop since 1939 We are a fourth generation, family-owned butcher shop.

Our great grandparents opened the first location of House of Homemade Sausage on 25th and Center from 1939 until 1951. From 1951 until 1990, our great grandparents, along with our grandparents, opened up the second location on 35th and Villard. Our parents opened up the third location in 1979 in Germantown. We still operate at the same location today. While the outside of the business may have cha

nged, the quality of our product has not. We are known for a variety of items including, summer sausage, snack sticks, brats, steaks, and the list goes on. Everything we offer is always fresh and never frozen. Because there are not many butcher shops open anymore, we appreciate our loyal customer clientele. Still to this day, we have many customers that used to shop at our Villard Avenue store. We would like to invite you to House of Homemade Sausage to try our products.
