The girls sure were excited to get out of the mud of the winter paddock!
Saturday we moved 11 heifers, 2 bred heifers and 9 cow calf pairs over to our Old Sawmill Road pastures. The remaining 8 bred cows stayed back at the home farm for calving season.

The 2nd calf of the spring season was born Friday night around 6 pm. Sinders weighed 90 lbs, the 2nd heaviest purebred Devon heifer I've had here on the farm.

Sunday, we brought Xavier to join his new herd in Hillsdale with and their Red Devons.

He was a great bull for us and the numerous farms who used his services over the years. A very docile and gentle bull, just what you'd expect from a Devon. You'll be missed, buddy! 🐂

Hey, guess what?!?!? ✨️ More new products!! ✨️. We've added more sausages to the lineup! 🍖

As always, made with our 100% grass fed and finished Devon beef, we are now offering:
●Beer bratwurst links
●Sweet Italian links and 1lb packs
●Hot Italian links
●Breakfast sausage in 1lb packs

We've restocked the chicken cuts, but the thighs are getting pretty low. There are still plenty of breasts, drumsticks, wings, whole birds, hearts, and livers. 🐔

Please be patient with the laying ladies and eggs. They're going on their winter break, so we're only seeing about a dozen a day. They worked their 🍑s off this year, so they deserve a little R&R.

Beef should also be restocked sometime this week or next. As always, thanks for all your patience and support 🙏.

2 heifer calves today, Aria and Kye! So far, 2 bulls and 3 heifers for fall calving. Ada Mae, Creek, and Louise are the only ones left to calf, and Louise is looking close! 🐂
