Coleman Agriculture is a 6th generation family owned and operated farm with headquarters just south of the small Western Oregon community of St. Paul. We manage over 2,400 acres of land in the Willamette Valley cultivating some of the highest quality crops you’ll find anywhere. We specialize in hops, hazelnuts, seed crops and a variety of vegetables, selling directly to brokers and commercial partners.

This afternoon we will gather with our friends at Benedictine Brewery to celebrate the bounty of harvest season in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

The Willamette Valley is known around the world for growing exceptional hops, but that's only part of the story. 🌱

At Coleman Agriculture, we also grow wheat, hazelnuts, corn, garlic, cauliflower and more because healthy farming is about more than a single harvest. Growing a variety of crops helps improve soil health, break pest and disease cycles, and make the most of the unique conditions our valley provides. The rich soil and mild climate of the Willamette Valley allow us to produce a wide variety of high-quality crops throughout the year.

Every season brings something new to the farm and we're proud to be part of the diverse agricultural landscape that makes the Willamette Valley so special.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for this year's Oregon Hop Field Day!
We loved welcoming everyone out to our award-winning Cascade Cup field to connect, learn, and celebrate another season of Oregon hops. It was also a treat to share Cerveza Común, a delicious Cascade Farm(house) IPA brewed by with hops grown at our Greenleaf Farm. 🍻

A big thank you to for organizing this annual event, and to the growers and brewers who came out. We always enjoy sharing what we love to do. See you at harvest!

Pollinator Week is a reminder that healthy farms depend on healthy ecosystems. 🐝🌼

These honeybees and bumblebees are hard at work among the wildflowers at our Greenleaf Farm, supporting the biodiversity that helps our landscapes thrive.

One of the more interesting facts about hops? While bees are some of nature's most important pollinators, they don't pollinate hops. Hops are wind-pollinated plants, and growers work to prevent pollination. Female hop plants produce the seedless cones prized by brewers, while pollinated cones develop seeds that can impact brewing quality.

That doesn't mean pollinators aren't important here. By maintaining riparian areas and diverse landscapes around our farms, we're helping support honeybees, native bumblebees, and countless other beneficial insects.

Bees and hops may not work together directly, but they both play an important role in a healthy farm ecosystem. Happy Pollinator Week! 🐝🌸🌿
