Shearer's Heritage Farm Our homestead is located just outside Gettysburg Pa.

We raise Bobwhite and Coturnix quail, ringneck pheasants , a variety of chickens, fresh pork from heritage pigs, pasture raised chicken, hatching eggs and a variety of fresh cut flowers!

Blue Mystic Maran : Cross between a Splash Copper Maran roo and Barred Rock Hens. Chicks are sex-linked with females being shades of solid blue with some copper developing in neck feathers as they age. Will be dark brown egg layers though not as dark as pure BCM. Males are blue barred

We still have chickens available to reserve!We are butchering next week, pick up for fresh birds is Thursday evening 10/16 or Friday 10/17, after that they will need frozen. Average 6-8 lbs whole birds, $3.50/lb, wholes and halves available.

We will have fresh, pasture raised chicken for sale soon! Butchering on 10/14, pick up for fresh chicken here at the farm will be on Thursday 10/16 or Friday 10/17, after Friday they can go in the freezer and be picked up whenever is convenient. $3.50/lb, average weight is 6-8 lbs per whole chicken. 3 month old started pullets available! These are Mystic Marans sometimes called Midnight Majesty Marans and are derived from crossing Black Copper Maran and Barred Plymouth Rock. They will be large and friendly hens and will lay shades of medium to dark brown eggs! All females $15 each!
