Eggs:
Chickens on the Weikert Farm live a life much different from those on large industrial plants. Our chickens can walk, run and fly freely within their rooms. They are free to roost, eat, and drink as they please. They also receive daylight, something other chickens never see in their entire lifetime. A high quality feed with alfalfa meal is fed to our chickens to insure delicious eggs with de

ep colored golden yolks. The eggs are collected by hand from the nests twice a day in baskets, washed and immediately cooled before grading and packing to preserve their inherent freshness. Beef:
Unlike most commercially produced beef, our beef cattle are fed an all natural diet of mixed hay forages, and a non gmo corn silage without any special feed additives to speed up the animals' growth. This means there are no hormones, implants, or any other artificial substances used to enhance growth. The crops grown on the Weikert Farm to feed our cattle are grown without the aid of chemicals such as insecticides and herbicides. Pork:
Some of the pork we sell at our store is raised by a local Adams County Farmer. He does not use any antibiotics or hormones. We sell our beef and pork by the cut at our farm store. All the meat is vacuumed sealed and frozen. Customers interested in large quantities of beef can order a whole, half, or quarter.
